We Build Each Other Up
In our exploration of Ephesians 4, we're challenged to consider what spiritual maturity truly looks like. Just as children reach developmental milestones, we too should be reaching spiritual milestones in our faith journey. The passage reminds us that our growth isn't meant to be stagnant, but rather a continual process of maturing in Christ. We're called to attain doctrinal maturity, understanding the depth of Jesus' teachings beyond just 'love God and love your neighbor.' This spiritual milestone demands that we know and live out the many commandments Jesus gave us, grounding ourselves in sound theology. As we grow, we're also challenged to cultivate authentic relationships within the body of Christ, speaking truth in love even when it's difficult. This maturity requires us to care enough about one another to have those uncomfortable conversations that can lead to growth and transformation. Are we willing to be vulnerable and open ourselves up to this level of community?
